Lemon Cake with Lemon Cream Cheese Glaze
AMAZING cake!! You can almost taste the bubbles? Unreal. Try it. It’s easy. You don’t even need to use a mixer, just stir it up and get it in your tummy!!
Lemon cake mix
Instant lemon pudding
1 cup 7 up
4 eggs
3/4 c oil
Whisk together dry cake mix and pudding mix. Add in oil, eggs and 7 up. Don’t use an electric mixer, there’s no need to.
Thoroughly spray fluted pan with Bakers Joy and then pour in batter.
Bake 47 minutes on 325 or until tooth pick comes out clean. Allow to cool and then turn onto cooling Rack. Once completely cool drizzle with: 1/4 c. 7 up, 1 tsp butter and 2 c. Powdered sugar. ** I had to add extra powdered sugar as it was too thin initially
I did a different glaze. I used about 3 cups of icing sugar, 1/2 package of cream cheese, lemon juice and a touch of milk and vanilla.
